Kate Danley
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Meridian Capital, Kate Danley served as the Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and as the Office Manager for the Education and Exhibits Department at the Natural History Museum during their seismic retrofit and exhibit hall renovations.
Education & Certification
Kate Danley graduated Summa Cum Laude from Towson University with a degree in theatre. She trained at Commercial Theater Institute (CTI) and Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) in commercial producing.
Community Service and Involvement
Kate Danley sits on the national council for the Dramatists Guild, with a focus on advocating for the playwrights in the west. She wrote a weekly sketch show in Hollywood and performed her original standup at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, and others. She trained in on-camera puppetry with Michael Earl (Mr. Snuffleupagus, Sesame Street) and played the head of a 20-ft dinosaur on an NBC pilot. Her plays have been produced internationally. Her book, The Woodcutter, is scheduled to be included in a time capsule being left on the moon.
