Professional Experience
Brian is CEO & Managing Director at Meridian Capital and also co-leads the firm’s Aerospace, Defense & Space and Diversified Industrials practices. As CEO Brian has helped lead the company through significant milestones, opening three new offices over the past three years in Oregon, Utah, and California, and expanding Meridian’s industry and sub-sector coverage. Under his leadership, Meridian Capital has seen substantial growth, solidifying its position as a leading independent M&A advisory firm. Over the course of his over 18-year investment banking and strategic consulting career, Brian has advised clients across an assortment of industry segments, including aerospace, manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, technology, and telecommunications. He has successfully advised over 100 business owners and entrepreneurs on a variety of sell-side and buy-side advisory, recapitalization, growth equity, and strategic advisory engagements. Prior to Meridian, Brian was a management consultant with Accenture Consulting in Washington, D.C. and New York. At Accenture, he worked with multiple Fortune 100 companies on issues related to revenue assurance, sales and process enhancement, and system integration.
Education & Certification
Brian is a graduate of the University of Redlands, where he earned a double major in financial economics and accounting in addition to a minor in mathematics. He holds Series 24, Series 79, Series 82, and Series 63 licenses with FINRA. In 2015, Brian was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of Seattle’s “Top 40 Under 40” for his business leadership and community involvement.
Community Service and Involvement
Brian is a member of the University of Redlands Board of Trustees where he chairs the Investment Committee and serves on the Executive Committee. He also is on the leadership committee of the University of Redlands Seattle Alumni and Community Involvement Chapter, where he is actively involved in mentoring current students, MBA candidates, and young alums. Brian is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He currently lives in Seattle with his wife, Kerri, and daughters, Tatum and Sloane. On the weekends, you will most often find him spending time with his family or on the tennis or basketball court.
