Professional Experience
Brandon Leyert is a Director at Meridian Capital and group co-lead for Meridian’s Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Building Products (AEC&BP) industry vertical. He also co-leads Meridian’s Residential & Commercial Services practice and supports the Food & Agribusiness industry team. As a Director, Brandon primarily advises middle-market companies and their owners on selling and acquiring businesses, raising equity and debt capital, and evaluating strategic alternatives and succession planning. Brandon has spearheaded the firm’s expansion in numerous subsectors within the AEC&BP industry team, including Residential / Home Services and Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, and Construction (AEC) Services. In June 2024, The M&A Advisor announced Brandon is a recipient of the 15th Annual Emerging Leaders Award.
Education & Certification
Brandon graduated cum laude from the University of Washington, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in finance and marketing. He holds his Series 63 and Series 79 licenses with FINRA.
Community Service and Involvement
Brandon is an active member of Seattle’s ACG Y20 organization, a sub-group of the Association for Corporate Growth focused on the development of young professionals. Brandon has also volunteered as a coach for both youth football and basketball. Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys spending his time golfing, backpacking, and skiing. He is also passionate about UW and Seahawks football, international soccer, and global travel.
