Transaction Description

Founded in 1987, Monson Fruit Company is the 3rd largest grower and packer of fresh sweet cherries in the U.S., and a leading grower and packer of apples. Monson is also one of the fastest growing vertically integrated grower packers in Washington State. Through its growth, the Company has state of the art, highly efficient packing facilities generating packing and grower returns above industry standards.

Tiverton Advisors was founded in 2013. Tiverton is an Ag-only, investment advisor whose partners collectively have over 125 years operating and investing experience in the agriculture sector.

Meridian Capital advised Monson Fruit Co. through the transaction. This deal process included marketing to prospective investors, selecting the ultimate investor, and negotiating and closing the transaction.
