BTI was founded in 2003 in Bozeman, Montana, by Fred G. Albert, Ph.D., and Brad W. Wright, Ph.D., P.E.  BTI is an early-stage research company that developed technology for accurate and rapid detection of bacteria, viruses and other targets, even in samples containing dust, urine, saliva or blood.  The company acquiring BTI plans to refine, produce, and commercialize this technology in a variety of critical market spaces.
