Professional Experience
Greg Ryan is a Vice President at Meridian Capital and a member of the firm’s Industrials practice. He specializes in advising middle-market business owners in the industrial, commercial, and residential services sectors on sell-side, buy-side, and recapitalization transactions, while regularly contributing his M&A expertise to clients in the firm’s Consumer practice.
Greg has more than four years of experience in investment banking and related advisory work, primarily supporting sell-side M&A transactions for privately held businesses. Prior to joining Meridian Capital, Greg was with Hunnex & Shoemaker, a Seattle-based retirement plan consulting firm. In that role, he worked closely with owners of small and mid-sized businesses to design and implement employer-sponsored retirement plan strategies, developing a strong foundation in owner priorities, financial planning, and advisory relationships.
Education & Certification
Greg earned an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Washington. He holds FINRA Series 63, 79, and 82 licenses and is an active member of ACG’s Young Professionals Program (Y20).
Community Service and Involvement
Based in Seattle, Greg is originally from Vancouver, Washington. Outside of work, he enjoys running marathons, sailing, exploring Seattle’s food scene, and cheering on University of Washington and Seattle sports teams.
