Professional Experience
Teague Collins is a Managing Director in Meridian Capital’s Technology practice, where he advises founder-led and growth-stage software companies on sell-side mergers and acquisitions, equity recapitalizations, and late-stage capital raise transactions.
Teague brings more than 19 years of investment banking and strategic advisory experience, with deep specialization across retail and commerce technology, sales and marketing technology, and application software. Over the course of his career, he has advised on more than 50 software transactions, partnering closely with founders, management teams, and investors to navigate complex transactions and maximize long-term value.
Prior to joining Meridian Capital, Teague spent over a decade at Cascadia Capital where he co-led the firm’s software investment banking practice. In that role, he advised growth-stage software companies across a broad range of sectors, including retail and commerce technology, sales and marketing platforms, artificial intelligence, supply chain software, ERP, HCM, education technology, and legal and compliance solutions. Earlier in his career, Teague worked in the Investment Banking Divisions of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in New York.
Education & Certification
Teague earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and served as a Surface Warfare Officer following graduation, completing two overseas deployments in the Middle East. He holds FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
Community Service and Involvement
Teague is based in Laguna Niguel, California, where he grew up. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, sports, food, traveling, and spending time with his family.
